Finding a Pediatric dentist you can trust is a process. Ask me! With two growing kids who needs one more than me. And who knows their importance more than I do. My little one developed problem with teeth since he was an infant. He got infected from milk bottles. I was a pretty cautious and good care taker but God knows what went wrong. And when his transfer orders came I breathed a sigh a relief hoping that I will find a good kids dentist in our new city.
I am glad we did. Our Pediatric dentist is real good. Besides the fact that she gets along with kids and gets things done, her diagnoses is on target! What I also like about her is she prescribes only those antibiotics or medicines which are absolutely necessary. Her first emphasis is on curing the problem through proper care and after each successful treatment she also gives a list of things to do and how to maintain dental hygiene.
Since I am into reading she happily and willingly shares some really good resources online to help me take care of my kids dental health better. This quality of hers says a lot about the kind of doctor she is. She is up to date with latest developments and technology and doesn't use anything outdated, whether it is tools, diagnoses, medicines, whatever. I really appreciate it in her. It means my kids are in safe hands, taken care of well. It is such a relief. Dental health is such a huge issue these days with kids eating all kinds of things and not brushing or cleaning their mouths when not supervised.
